Welding and assembly

1. Excessive welding

the reason:The energy input to the workpiece is too much; the power of the ultrasonic machine is too large.

Solution:

A. Reduce working pressure.

B. Reduce welding time.

C. Use a smaller multiple of the horn to reduce the amplitude.

D. Reduce the amplitude of the ultrasonic mold.

E. Use a horn with a smaller amplitude amplification ratio.

2. Uneven welding

the reason:

A. The workpiece is twisted.

B. the weld line is not evenly weighed.

C. the mold amplitude distribution is uneven.

 Solution:

A. Exclude large-bend workpieces.

B. Check whether the workpiece is deformed during the work, and the energy-collecting side is redesigned to make the height uniform.

C. Redesign the ultrasonic mold.

D. The power of the ultrasonic machine is low or unstable.

3.  the welding results are inconsistent

the reason:

A. The error of the workpiece is too large.

B. the power supply voltage changes.

C. Air source pressure changes.

D. The mold is wet.

E. The proportion of plastic workpiece filler is too high.

F. Uneven distribution of fillers.

G. The design of the energy conduction wire is wrong.

H. Material welding performance is poor.

Solution:

A. Dry the mold.

B. Dry the workpiece and weld it immediately.

C. Reduce the filler ratio.

D. Improve the quality of workpieces.

E. Redesign the joint surface structure.

F. Change to materials with good welding performance.

Only knowing where the welding problem is and solving it is the key. There are many advantages to this. It can prolong the service life of the welding machine. It can be used for a longer time. Another point is to increase the valuable experience. If you encounter similar things, you can be more comfortable.
