Ultrasonic welding machine frequency calibration method

Frequency calibration of ultrasonic welding machine is an important step to ensure the normal operation of the equipment and the quality of welding. The following are several common methods for calibrating the frequency of ultrasonic welding machine:

1. Use a professional frequency meter

Steps:

1. Turn off the power: Before performing any calibration operation, be sure to turn off the power of the ultrasonic welding machine to ensure safety.

2. Connect the frequency meter: Connect the professional frequency meter to the appropriate interface of the ultrasonic welding machine. For specific connection methods, please refer to the instruction manual of the frequency meter.

3. Start the equipment: Restart the ultrasonic welding machine and enter the frequency test mode.

4. Read the frequency: Observe the reading on the frequency meter and record the current actual frequency.

5. Adjust the frequency: If the actual frequency deviates from the target frequency, the frequency can be calibrated by adjusting the tuning inductor. During the adjustment process, continue to observe the reading of the frequency meter until the target frequency is reached.

6. Confirm the calibration: After the calibration is completed, read the value of the frequency meter again to ensure that the frequency has been accurately calibrated.

2. Automatic frequency scan (for new equipment)

Steps:

1. Turn off the power: Make sure the equipment is in a power-off state.

2. Enter the automatic scan mode: According to the equipment's operating manual, find a way to enter the automatic frequency scan mode. Usually, this can be achieved through a specific button combination or menu option.

3. Start the equipment: Restart the ultrasonic welder, and the equipment will automatically scan and identify the frequency of the ultrasonic mold.

4. Confirm calibration: After the automatic scan is completed, the equipment will display the current frequency value. If further adjustment is required, you can manually fine-tune it.

3. Manual frequency adjustment

Steps:

1. Turn off the power: Make sure the equipment is in a power-off state.

2. Check the connection: Make sure the connection between the ultrasonic mold and the horn is locked.

3. Start the equipment: Restart the ultrasonic welder and enter the frequency test mode.

4. Observe the load meter: Press the ultrasonic test switch and observe the load meter reading. If the load meter pointer exceeds 30% of the range or the value is greater than 2 amps, the test switch should be pressed very briefly to prevent damage to the machine.
5. Adjust the tuning inductor: Rotate the tuning inductor left and right until the value on the meter is displayed at the minimum position. Normally, this value should be between 5% and 15%, or between 300 mA and 900 mA.
6. Confirm the calibration: After the calibration is completed, read the value of the load meter again to ensure that the frequency has been accurately calibrated.

4. Regular maintenance and calibration

Recommendations:
- Regular calibration: In order to ensure the accuracy of frequency adjustment, it is recommended to calibrate the ultrasonic welding machine regularly. This can be done by using a professional frequency meter to ensure that the equipment is always in the best working condition.
- Record calibration data: After each calibration, record the calibration data and date for future reference and comparison.

Summary

The frequency calibration of the ultrasonic welding machine is a job that requires carefulness and patience. Through the above methods, you can effectively calibrate the frequency of the equipment to ensure the quality of welding and the normal operation of the equipment. Remember that correct frequency calibration can not only improve production efficiency, but also extend the service life of the equipment.
