Ultrasonic welding machine plays an important role in industrial production, especially mechanical production. It really helps people solve many problems. When using an ultrasonic welding machine for welding, the output power, oscillation frequency and amplitude range should be selected according to factors such as workpiece material, welding wire area, whether there are electronic components in the workpiece, and whether air tightness is required. We should not make subjective judgments. Ultrasonic welding machine should be carried out under the guidance of professional and technical personnel. Don't listen to others. If problems occur, they should be repaired by professional and technical personnel.


The main points that should be paid attention to for ultrasonic welding machine are as follows:


1. The area of the ultrasonic weld is guaranteed to meet certain requirements.

When the ultrasonic instantaneous energy is generated, the larger the weld area, the more serious the energy dispersion, the worse the ultrasonic welding effect, and even the weld cannot be welded. In addition, ultrasonic waves propagate longitudinally, and energy loss is proportional to distance. Long-distance ultrasonic welding should be controlled within 6cm. The ultrasonic weld should be controlled between 30-80 wire. The thickness of the workpiece arm should not be less than 2 mm. Otherwise, the welding is not good, especially for products that require high air tightness.


2. The melting point of the workpiece should be reached by ultrasonic thermal resistance.

The ultrasonic transducer converts electrical energy into mechanical energy and conducts it through the material molecules of the workpiece. Since the acoustic resistance of ultrasonic waves in solids is much smaller than that in air, when ultrasonic waves pass through the joints of the workpieces, the acoustic resistance in the gap is large and the heat generated is large. First, the temperature reaches the melting point of the workpiece, and then a certain pressure is applied to weld the joint. Due to the low thermal resistance, other parts of the workpiece are not welded at low temperatures.


3. The weld seam of the ultrasonic welder should be strictly inspected.

Ordinary ultrasonic welding head manufacturers provide a set of strict inspection procedures. The processing dimensions are verified by computer software simulation, and the quality is guaranteed. These processes cannot be achieved in general workshops. If the design of the ultrasonic welding joint is unreasonable, the reaction problem is not obvious when the ultrasonic welding machine is used for the small workpiece. In high-power ultrasonic welding machines, various defects will occur, and the power components will be directly damaged in severe cases.


4. The output power of the ultrasonic welder should be balanced.

The output power of the ultrasonic welding machine depends on the diameter and thickness of the piezoelectric ceramic, material quality and design process. Once the ultrasonic transducer is determined, the power will be determined. Measuring output energy is a complicated process. It is not that the larger the ultrasonic transducer, the more ultrasonic power tubes used in the circuit, the greater the output energy. It needs to be quite complicated. The amplitude measuring instrument can accurately measure its amplitude.


5. When using an ultrasonic welding machine, two kinds of workpieces can be welded.

Some different materials can be welded better, some are fused by basic instincts, and some are not. The same material has the same melting point and can be welded in principle, but when the melting point of the workpiece to be welded exceeds 350°C, it is no longer suitable to use an ultrasonic welding machine. Since the molecules of the workpiece melt instantly under the action of ultrasonic waves, the judgment basis is within 3 seconds. If the welding is not good, you should choose another welding process, such as hot plate welding. Generally speaking, ABS materials are easy to weld, but nylon is difficult to weld.
