Solving rubber cutting challenges for customers: Ultrasonic cutting knife field test feedback
We recently assisted a customer in testing a cutting solution for rubber products (trimming rough edges). For this test, we used two ultrasonic cutting knives: HS-C30 and HS-C40. Due to sample shipping restrictions, we used a power plug made of similar material as a substitute for testing. The results showed:
- Both ultrasonic cutting knives were able to complete the cutting smoothly
- The 40kHz model had distinct advantages: it was more compact and suitable for handheld precision operations

1. Rubber materials vary significantly in properties, and certain highly absorbent rubbers (such as some special formulations) may cause ultrasonic cutters to malfunction.
