The application of ultrasonic welding machine and the principle of spin welding

Ultrasonic vibration converts electronic energy into mechanical energy, and then transfers the energy to the contact surface of the plastic product through the horn, causing strong friction between the molecules and promoting the melting and integration of the product. The processing speed is fast, clean, beautiful and economical.

Welding scope: toy industry, stationery industry, home appliance industry, electronics industry, food industry, communication industry, transportation industry, aerospace industry, etc.

Examples of ultrasonic welding:

Daily necessities: powder box, makeup mirror, comb, lock ring, thermos cup, airtight container, condiment bottle, water pipe joint, handle

Bottle caps, food containers, car lampshades, car water tanks, etc.

Toy industry: all kinds of ball toys, stationery, water guns, plastic gifts, musical toys, various plastic toys, etc.

Electrical industry: electronic clocks, steam irons, vacuum cleaners, telephones, computer keyboards, fans, batteries, etc.

Automobile manufacturing industry: lamps, rearview mirrors, interiors, bumpers, various plastic products, etc.

Electronics industry: Mainly produce a variety of plastic related products such as power supplies, adapters, chargers, and mobile phone cases. The electronics industry is an industry that uses more ultrasonic plastic welding machines.

The principle of ultrasonic welding machine spin welding

It is specially designed for plastic round thermoplastic products. Under the action of the heat generated by the friction between the plastic parts, the contact surface of the plastic parts will melt, and then driven by the external pressure, the upper and lower parts are solidified into a combined body.

Examples of spinning and melting: reverse osmosis filters, freezing cups, vacuum flasks, vases, carburetors, shower nozzles, thermos bottles, Van De Street, etc.

When ultrasonic waves propagate in the medium, they will produce the following four physical effects:

Mechanical effect

The mechanical action of ultrasound can promote liquid emulsification, gel liquefaction and solid dispersion. When a standing wave is formed in the ultrasonic fluid medium, the particles suspended in the fluid condense at the nodes due to mechanical force, forming periodic accumulation in the space. When ultrasonic waves propagate in piezoelectric and magnetostrictive materials, induced polarization and induced magnetization due to the mechanical action of ultrasonic waves (see Dielectric Physics and Magnetostriction).

Cavitation

When ultrasonic waves act on liquids, a large number of small bubbles are generated. One of the reasons is that the local tensile stress in the liquid creates negative pressure. The decrease in pressure causes the gas to dissolve and supersaturate in the liquid, and then escape from the liquid to form small bubbles. Another reason is that strong tensile stress "tears" the liquid into the cavity, which is called cavitation. The cavity is filled with liquid vapor or other gas dissolved in the liquid, and may even be a vacuum. The small bubbles formed by cavitation will suddenly move, grow, or burst with the vibration of the surrounding medium. When the bubble bursts, the surrounding liquid suddenly rushes into the bubble, generating high temperature, high pressure and shock waves. The internal dissipation energy related to cavitation forms electric charges in the bubbles and produces light when discharged. The liquid ultrasonic treatment technology is mainly related to cavitation.

Thermal effect

Due to the high frequency and high energy of ultrasonic waves, it will produce significant thermal effects after being absorbed by the medium.

Chemical effect

The effect of ultrasound can promote or accelerate certain chemical reactions. For example, pure distilled water will produce hydrogen peroxide after ultrasonic treatment; nitrogen-containing water will produce nitrite after ultrasonic treatment; dye aqueous solution will change color or fade after ultrasonic treatment. These phenomena are always accompanied by cavitation. Many substances can be hydrolyzed and polymerized by ultrasound. The effect of ultrasound on photochemical and electrochemical processes is also obvious. After ultrasonic treatment, the characteristic absorption bands of amino acids and other organic substances in the aqueous solution disappeared, showing uniform general absorption, indicating that cavitation changed the molecular structure.
