Common Failures And Causes Of Ultrasonic Harness Welding Machine

Common failures and causes of ultrasonic harness welding machine

     Ultrasonic wire harness welding machine can be said to be the most mature product among ultrasonic welding machines, and it is also very convenient to use. The most important thing is the low maintenance rate, which allows customers to complete the work well. Although the maintenance rate of ultrasonic wire harness welding machine is low, we still need to understand the common faults and causes of ultrasonic wire harness welding machine, so that we can better complete the work.

    Common fault types of ultrasonic harness welding machine:

    1. The ultrasonic generator has no output;

    2. The joint is not welded firmly;

    3. The welding seam is not continuous.

    Analysis of the causes of failure of ultrasonic harness welding machine:

    1. Amplitude adjustment and power output do not match: The mechanical amplitude of the welding machine is generated by the ultrasonic generator and the welding machine system and remains constant throughout the welding process. Some applications require the system amplitude to accurately match the welding situation. Therefore, the welding machine can be additionally equipped with an amplitude setter whose adjustable range is 25%-100% of the normal amplitude. If the adjustment value of the amplitude setting knob is 6%-100% of the normal value, its maximum output value will decrease.

    2. The choice of welding power, amplitude and welding pressure: During the welding process, the ultrasonic system can make the welding machine maintain a constant mechanical amplitude when the load and welding pressure are insufficient. However, because the amplitude of the welding machine is proportional to the high-frequency current of the ultrasonic generator, the voltage of the welding machine also increases with the increase of load and power.

    3. Dynamic overload protection action: The dynamic overload protection of the welding machine protects the ultrasonic generator and the welding machine from damage due to overload. When the required power exceeds the normal power or the system frequency is not completely matched, the overload protection circuit is broken. Turn it on and record it all at once. The remaining energy is sent back to the grid. After the fault is eliminated, the system will continue to work under normal working conditions.

    4. Overheating protection action: There is a thermal controller inside the ultrasonic generator. If the power supply temperature exceeds its safe working temperature, the power switch inside the generator is turned off until the power supply temperature drops to the safe working temperature, the generator can work intermittently .
