Principle:
Impedance analyzer is an instrument that can measure the change of complex electrical impedance with frequency. Its principle is to measure the current and voltage of the device during the frequency sweep test through phase-sensitive detection. The main parameters of impedance analyzer are frequency range, impedance range, impedance amplitude accuracy and phase accuracy. Furthermore, it includes the function of measuring speed and applying voltage or current bias during the test.
The impedance measured by the impedance analyzer includes impedance amplitude, real part, imaginary part, and phase (difference) caused by voltage and current. According to the equivalent circuit model, some impedance parameters including conductance, inductance and capacitance can be easily calculated and displayed.
