20KHz Ultrasonic Welding Machine For Auto Plastic Parts
20KHz Ultrasonic Welding Machine For Auto Plastic Parts
Working principle:
Ultrasonic welding for thermoplastic injection molded parts is a process that uses mechanical vibrations above the audible range. As is generally known, the vibration generated by the welding sonotrode or horn is used to soften or melt the thermoplastic material at the joint. The components to be joined are held together under pressure and subjected to vibrations, typically vibrating at a frequency of 20 or 40 kHz.

Description:
The ability to successfully weld parts depends on the design of the equipment, the mechanical properties of the material to be welded, and the design of the parts and joints. Ultrasonic welding time is short (usually less than one second), which makes the process very suitable for mass production. From automotive lighting fixtures to consumer electronics, such as mobile phone housings, this process has been widely accepted in many applications.
Ultrasonic welding equipment consists of generators, converters or transducers, boosters, welding heads. A schematic diagram of the ultrasonic welding machine is shown as follows:
